  1. Building something with stone, brick, etc.
  2. Stone, brick, concrete, hollow-tile, concrete block, or other similar building units or materials. Normally bonded together with mortar to form a wall. 
  3. The part of a building built by a mason; stonework and brickwork. That form of construction composed of stone, brick, concrete, gypsum, hollow clay tile, concrete block or tile or other similar building units or materials or combination of these materials laid up unit by unit and held together by cement.
