An identity is someone that you have identified as a person that knows about you and your company and has a need for and some degree of interest in your product or services.
EXAMPLE:
A homeowner who knows of you, has a need for a new driveway or a water feature and some interest in getting one installed is an identity. A person living in an apartment is not.
