HERON DECOY

  1. A heron decoy is a fake model of a heron, which is a large bird with an S-shaped neck and a pointed bill.  Heron decoys are put in or near ponds to scare off potential predator birds that will eat the fish in that pond.
  2. Used to prevent herons from eating your fish.
