BATTLE PLAN (BP)

A written list of doable targets to be executed in the immediate short-term future (i.e., the coming day or week) that will implement and accomplish some portion of a strategic plan.  It is called a battle plan because a war is something that happens over a long period of time.  The fate of everything depends on it.  A battle is something which occurs in a short unit of time.  One can lose several battles and still win a war.  Thus one in essence is talking about short periods of time when one is talking about a battle plan.

EXAMPLE:

Make a weekly battle plan and a daily battle plan – then you can get production.
