The AM (Actual Materials cost) divided by the EM (Estimated Materials cost) for all jobs completed each week. This is displayed as a percentage – we want the actual cost of materials to be 100% or less than the estimated cost of materials. This is an upside down graph because the lower the percentage, the better.
