- The A/C Condenser unit used in air conditioning systems typically has a heat exchanger section to cool down and condense incoming refrigerant vapor into liquid. Refrigerants are specific chemicals that absorb and release heat from the air in order to cool a room. The heat absorbed from your home’s air is transferred to the refrigerant and then pumped to the outdoor unit.
- The outside fan unit of the Air Conditioning system. It removes the heat from the Freon gas and “turns” the gas back into a liquid and pumps the liquid back to the coil in the furnace.
EXAMPLE:
If an A/C Condenser is blowing out warm air, it is likely due to being low on refrigerant.
