Remember, a linear foot is 12 inches in a straight line. If you measure something and it’s 12 inches long, it’s one linear foot in length. If it’s 24 inches long, that’s two linear feet, etc.
The length of a block wall is measured in lineal feet, LF. The border of a patio is measure in LF.
EXAMPLES:
The LF of the wall below is 15’+ 13′ + 19′ + 8′ +4′ + 5′ = 64 LF
