- A structural member inlaid on a diagonal angle in wall framing. The let-in brace provides lateral strength for the wall. It i called a “let-in” brace because it is notched into the studs.
- An “L” shaped, long (about 10′) metal strap that are installed by the framer at the rough stage to give support to an exterior wall or wall corner.
