JOINT

1. The location between the touching surfaces of two members or components joined and held together by nails, glue, cement, mortar, or other means.
2. The space between each paver.

EXAMPLES:

1. The gap at the joint was uneven and needed to be repaired.
2. The joints are filled with sand which locks the pavers.
