LEVELING SAND

The leveling sand is usually a loose sand 1″ in depth, of concrete sand, and is used to provide the final laying bed for the interlocking concrete pavers. It rests directly on the prepared gravel bed. The compaction of the pavers sets the paving stones into the sand in a uniform flatness.
