SEALER (Pavers)

  1. A clear liquid, applied to the surface of pavers after they are installed, in order to enhance their color and protect against stains.

EXAMPLE:

Sealer is almost always used after paver installations due to it providing a nicer look and more security from various environmental conditions.

2. Commercial penetrants applied to a paved surface after installation, used to ‘seal’ the surface from dirt, stain intrusion or stabilize joint sand in interlocking concrete pavements. Sealing concrete pavers is a personal choice. It can enhance the colors and light reflectivity, but must be properly applied after cleaning, and requires maintenance. Many prefer the natural or rustic ‘aging’ of a paved concrete surface.
