BORDER

1. Anything that separates two or more different things in order to prevent interactions between them.  A border along the side of pavers is referred to as a restraint.
2. The stones we place around the outer edge of a driveway.        
3. The part that forms the outer edge.
4. A decorative strip around the edge of something.

EXAMPLE:

The paver crew installed a border along the sides of my driveway which gave a nice look along the lawn.
