Arc for sprinklers, is the degree of coverage of a sprinkler from one side of a pattern to the other. A 90-degree arc would be a quarter-circle sprinkler.
Note: the distance the water sprays is referred to as the radius.
EXAMPLE:
The arc of most sprinklers are adjustable to cover a wider, or narrower range.
