The executive responsible for getting jobs installed. They are directly under the General Manager.
They are over all of the production functions, from job scheduling all the way to a fully installed job.
Their first objective is to put a completely trained crew in place that have a targeted number of hours to do each job and that actually do the jobs within the targeted hours. If the jobs are not done within the EPH, Estimated Production Hours, they correct the crew, sales, or the estimator.
- To organize the production area, so that everything flows correctly. This includes making sure everyone is trained and apprenticed for their jobs.
- To make sure that all job installations occur in high quantity and are of high quality.
PRODUCTS:
- An abundance of profitably completed jobs to the total delight of the customer.
- A fully trained Production Division that works in unison, with everyone producing their assigned products.
STATISTIC:
Gross Profit produced for the week.
EXAMPLE:
The Production Manager is going to come out to the jobsite today to handle Mrs. Jones.
