The latest technology in infill systems. Infilling synthetic turf is the process by which small granulated beads are distributed to the surface of the turf in a uniform pattern to simulate natural soil. Unlike other infills such as silica sand or ground up rubber tires, Durafill is non-absorbent, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. These attributes translate into external elements not being absorbed into the infill product itself, such as animal urine. Animal urine and other external elements are not absorbed which eliminates building bacterial spores within the infill product. Durafill also does not degredate or compact over time and does not need repeated applications as does rubber. Durafill does not become blistering hot in the heat which would otherwise cause more heat transfer to the synthetic grass blades. Durafill is environmentally safe and does not contain silica, zinc or heavy metals.
