Crumb rubber is generally manufactured from automotive and truck scrap tires. During the manufacturing process steel and fluff is removed leaving tire rubber with a granular consistency. The granulate is sized based on a passing through a screen with a size based on a dimension (1/4″) or mesh (10, 20, etc.)
